Your metaverse best friend! SolarPups is a Web3 game built by Krikey on the Flow Blockchain. In our game, NFT owners collect their favorite SolarPup and can play with it in a 3D animated game to increase its happiness bar. Once at peak happiness, owners can breed their SolarPups to produce more SolarPups NFTs.
As the UX Design Lead for Solarpups web3 game, I took it upon myself to educate myself on the intricacies of blockchain technology and the setup of a wallet. With this newfound knowledge, I was able to design a user-friendly interface for the game, making it accessible and enjoyable for players. In addition to the interface, I also established a marketplace for the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) collected in the game, providing a new level of engagement for players. This project is a testament to my ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in a practical and user-centered manner.

Challenge:
Multiple users expressed the sign up flow was confusing, and dropped off during sign up.
Solution:
Successfully implemented a progress bar in the sign up flow, resulting in increased user engagement and reduced confusion. The progress bar provided a clear and visual representation of the sign up process, increasing transparency and reducing frustration, leading to a notable improvement in conversion rate.
